Barron Sexson is the President and owner of TMI – Total Maintenance, Inc., an industry leader in the mechanical contracting field, performing HVAC, plumbing, piping, water treatment and energy management related services to the commercial, industrial and residential markets throughout Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois. Barron started his career at TMI full time in 1993 beginning in sales and working through the ranks to the position he holds today. His strong communication skills, problem solving, leadership and the commitment to his employees, customers and community has resulted in personal and business success.
Barron earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University. He has been involved and served in many organizations, some of which are Make-a-Wish, Crow Valley Golf Club BOD, Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois Mechanical Contractors Association, MSCA – Mechanical Service Contractors of America, Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, youth sports coaching, Quad-Cities Area Leaders Under 40 as well as many other non-profit and charitable organizations. Barron currently serves as a Trustee for the Local 25 Plumbers and Pipefitters, overseeing the local pension, 401k and health and welfare funds. And, he’s the acting President of the Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois Mechanical Contractors Association. He lives in Bettendorf and is married to his wife Barbara, has two sons, Grant, currently at the University of Iowa, and Brady, at Pleasant Valley High School.
